This is the perfect combo! Caugt this beautiful/wild rainbow trout in the sommer on this little Hares Ear nymph, size 18.
I could see the fish coming underneath a bridge and I took a cast and BAM!!

PIKE FISHING

My friend Simon and I, were out to try some lake fishing in Gødstrup lake for some days ago.
Simon caught his PB pike on a selfmade spinnerbait after about 3 hours of fishing with no contact at all. The pike was about 80 cm!

Ultra Light fishing with my dad for pike we caught some stunning fish!
2 pikes over 5 kg!
All the fish were caugt with the Savage Gear Soft 4 Play "Zander" and "Dirty Roach" - 9,5 cm.
Tomorrow i'm going out for the big pike, armed with Jerkbait and the flyrod with one of my friends Simon.

Grass Carp + Fly Rod = Crazy fight!

I caugt this carp on the Olive Damsel (pattern below)
The weight of the carp was about 6 kg.

Olive Damsel

Olive Damsel  Modificed

The first picture is a classic olive damsel pattern who had caught alot of fish around the world. But this fly had a "dead" action in the water so I would tie a modificed version of this classic pattern.

And I did.

I did make the Golden Olive Damsel who have a perfect action in the water.
With a tail tied of marabou with windings, a body of olive hares ear dubbing, some lead wire, a pair of nymph eyes and over thorax i've tied some olive angelhair.
This fly is especially good for steelheads and grass carps!

Deep Dive Caddis

Bead Head Caddis
A new killers is born!
I tied this as a allround nymph for smaller streams as well as lakes all over Scandinavian. Specialized for brown trout and greylings.  The fly is tied with olive dubbing, CDC feathers. pheasant tail fibres and a copper bead head. The hook is a hand crafted Mustad hook size 10.

I have alot of inspiration to tie new patterns
 in these days. This is just one

As I said. I've been fly fishing for several years now.
This rainbow trout (the right one) was the first fish I caught with a fly rod. The other trout was caught with my 7 feet spinning rod and a Mepps 3 copper with red dots.

Happy Doomsday Seatrouts!

New copper shrimp. Tied for the Easter holiday when i'm going to a smaller island in Limfjorden called Fur. I can't wait.
Materials:
Hook - Ordinary saltwater hook size 6
Thread - White 6/0 Uni thread
Tail - Curled burned orange called "Shrimp Hair"
Eyes - 0,65 mm nylon line burned and dyed with a black permanent marker
Body - copper coloured synthetic dubbing
Wing (over the body) - A light brown CDC feather.

Titanium Shrimp

Just tied a new shrimp imitation for the Danish sea trouts. Hope they will enjoy!
Materials:
Thread - Uni Thread 6/0 Black
Hook - Partridge saltwater hook
Eyes - Homemade eyes ( 0,65 ) nylon
Body - Silver/grey dubbing
Weight - A little bit of lead wire
Tail - Nylon Shrimp fibers

This is the mighty Honey Bunny. This fly has perfect action in the water. It's a fly i specialized for pikes in a river  in Sweden called Helge Å. I've varied this fly in many colors for different types weather and water conditions. The fly is a little heavy when it's wet but i can easily cast it with a Sage #8 fly rod.
  Materials:Hook - Tiemco TMC bass bug
Head - Marine blue kevlar thread
Eye - 3D Eye Yellow
Body - Orange rabbit zonker made as a hair hackle
Bag - Black rabbit zonker
Tail - Orange rabbit zonker and hot orange rubber legs
Weight - Few straps of "lead" wire.
This fly dives about 2 meters in still water.

BLACK BAITFISH PATTERN

This baitfish pattern is made for pike,
 northen perch and is ideal for trout in smaller sizes.
You can vary this fly in colors and sizes and adapt it to your own fishing.
This fly is the fly who caught my first "fly pike".
This fly is a allround fly i will recommand for any predators!

Body - Midnight blue/black flash
Tail - Synthetic hair mixed up with the same flash as the body!Tight lines!

P!KE POPPER PERCH EDITION

This foam poopper is one of my all time favourite poppers for pike.
The popper should look like a harmed perch. It is approximately 9 cm. The popper is made for the Scandinavian pikes, but i'm sure it can catch almost any predator species all over the world. You can change the color and adapt it to your own fishing waters This popper is dressed with chartreuse and black hen hackles, black marabou, light green fly fibres, orange, olive and chartreuse rupper legs. The eye is a 3D eye. The hook is a Tiemco TMC 8089 Bass Bug, Straight Eye, Wide Gape. Who is a strong light weight hook. The foam has a epoxy finish.
